FRIDAY FUN

FRIDAY FUN
We are so excited to have family in town! GG & Papa G arrived last night and this morning we picked up Mimi & Hugh and went straight into the city. We went down to Crissy Field and walked over to the Palace of Fine Arts. We watched the ducks and swans and took in the beautiful architecture...just wish it was a bit warmer! It was time for the younger crew to take a nap...so we drove to San Carlos for lunch off Laurel Street..then a little shopping (for the birthday boy) next off to Burton Park! Later that night we headed down to Palo Alto for some food and Margarita's at Celia's.... meeting up with Daddy and Aunt Betsy!

A DAY in San Francisco

I just discoverd that there are free museum days at different museums around the city. So we decided to drive into San Fran after Keaton finished school. We parked at Crissy Field -love the free parking...The kiddos immediately wanted to run onto the beach. Keaton loved hearing the fog signal from the big Barge going under the Golden Gate bridge...Then we headed down the path to the Exploratorium (free the first Wed of the month). The kids had fun...but I think the museum is best for older kids (...or just when Lily is Keaton's age). After the museum, we walked around outside watching the ducks & running in the grass...then we went back to the beach for some fun in the sand! I asked Keaton what he liked best about today... and he said the Barge!
