Ice Skating!
Day 2 in the city!
Well decided to take a late afternoon trip into San Francisco...why not...it is only a 30 min drive!
We found free parking and walked in a few blocks to Union Square for some ice skating..well it did not last 2 long! Keaton was frightened!!! He only made it one time around..and I was holding his most of the way...not 2 sure he even stood up on the ice all by himself..I guess a 3 year old is a little young for ice skating... it sounded fun! I decided to take a few laps by myself giving hi fives to the kiddos on each lap...(next year we will have to go without the kiddos)
At the end of the day everyone had the most fun watching the ice rink and the hustle and bustle of union square out the 6th floor window at the Burger Bar --yum yum!!

Randal Muesum & Hike
We went into the city to the Randal Museum. They were having Jr. Engineer Day...so Keaton enjoyed driving a train around a huge model train layout...while Lillian enjoyed the tree house exploration zone....All of us enjoyed the live animal exhibit that houses over 100 animals that can no longer survive in the wild. After the exploring inside the museum we went outside to have a picnic overlooking the amazing view of the city and SF Bay. Then we discovered a trail just steps from the museum that turned into a BIG hike...what a fun day in San Francisco!!!
We will definitely go back to this free (donations welcome) museum!!
