Sip & See

On Saturday, March 27th Mimi & Uncle Dan had everyone over for a great party to celebrate baby Lillian's arrival! We were so happy that so many of you could meet our Lillian....only 6 weeks old! We are truly blessed to have our friends and family come to this special party. I tried to capture all the people that came ...but, I did miss some of you..sorry! Thanks everyone that came to this fun event & for those of you that could not make it...we missed you!
Thanks again Kimi & Dan--you are the best!!! --love ya

Papa G's 60th Birthday!

On March 20th we went to Goat Hill Junction in Costa Mesa. They have free 10min train rides the third Sat & Sun of every month. Keaton is obsessed with trains ...(so we spend most of our weekend seeking out activities revolving around trains!) It was a special weekend because we were celebrating my dad's/ Papa G's 60th Birthday!!!
After the fun train ride we meet up in Newport with Mimi, Uncle Dan & red dog Jackson at The Beach Pit BBQ off 17th Street for some yummy lunch..loved my sliders and who knew that fried pickles were so good! ...also the place was perfect for Keaton because of the gated play yard out front...we will have to go back again this summer!
Then on Monday, March 22nd we invited my parents over for taco dinner to celebrate my dad's real 60th Birthday! It is so hard to go out to dinner with 2 kiddos...and especially with 2.5 year old wild Keaton!
Happy Birthday Papa G
WE LOVE YOU!!!

TRIN, TRAIN, TRAIN!!!

On March 14 we took the Amtrak train down to San Juan Capistrano. Keaton was so excited to ride a real train and was all smiles all day long! When we arrived in SJC we walked to lunch at Ruby's. At the restaurant it was all about the trains running above our heads and not the burger & fries. Then we walked down Los Rios Street to Zoomars. Keaton loved the fun playground, holding the guinea pigs, jumping with the bunnies, smiling at the Llamas and of course riding the train! The last excitement was riding the real train home...what an adventure!!!
