Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great Memorial Day Weekend. We took a drive up north to stay with Flora & Ed on there ranch in King City. Then we were off to Monterey for Cheryl & Matt's wedding in Pacific Grove. Keaton was a trouper in the car ... the DVD player with Elmo helped a bunch! Thank you Flora & Ed for the wonderful food & hospitality... your new house is beautiful ...we can't believe all the work you have done ...it is amazing! We can't wait to visit again someday soon.... Keaton loved spending time with you and exploring the ranch...he could have pounded on the buckets and thrown rocks for days! We hope 2 see you both down in southern CA soon! Then on Sunday we headed to Monterey, only about 1.5 hours away from the ranch... we took Keaton to the wedding ceremony...he lasted about 15min because of the music that was playing...but after that stopped it was time to leave the church and explore outside for a bit! Then we headed to the reception at the Hyatt..we dropped off Keaton with a babysitter in the room and we were off for some fun at the reception. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Berry!

....Keaton is now 20 months....in the past month or 2 he said his first sentence "kick the ball" ... he is repeating most everything we say...is climbing up onto the counters & ladders....loves to dance to music & now try's to sing songs, he is always saying "open that"...he has discovered his new favorite show "Diego"... he likes to get frozen yogurt and always says "more" when we have to leave...if he finds a pen or pencil he runs to write on the wall...he says please and thank you...likes hummus dip on pretzels... trying to say "i love you", wants to help us with everything...still loves to spot trucks and buses and now says two when he see's 2...when we go to the park all he wants to do is kick his soccer ball and see the "rolly polly's" ...still loving water & animals, and it is keeping mommy & daddy on there toes... we are so blessed to have our little explorer in our lives and we can't wait for more adventures tomorrow and troughout him lifetime!

ROAD TRIP TO AZ

Mommy, Keaton & Aunt Mimi went on a 5 hour road trip last Tuesday! We visited Julie, Ryder & Lauren that now live in Peoria, AZ (Daddy Pat was on a Bus. trip--hope to see you on our next visit)! We had fun running around the house with the kids, splashing in the pool with Clifford, piling the car with 6 people ("party in the car"), jumping on the trampoline, dancing to music, and catching up on much needed girl talk! It was also great to see Ali, that came over for some yummy food and to see the crazy kiddos! Thanks Julie, you are welcome anytime in MV.. you are doing an amazing job with your kids...they are lucky to have u as there mommy...I can't wait to see you in July in San Diego...Miss you and the kids already! --K

Betsy's Shower

My cousin Betsy had her bridal shower on Saturday the 2nd of May at my mom's house. It was great seeing the family and meeting some of Betsy's friends and new family. The food was yummy and Betsy looked so happy! We are so excited for the happy couple and can't wait to see the ceremony on the 24th of May!
